By participating in the Brokerpedia National BDM Excellence Awards, the voter (any broker registered on Brokerpedia or business development manager) and BDM candidate (business development manager voted by the user) are required to follow all the terms and conditions by Brokerpedia (Infopower Australia Pty Ltd). Any vote not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
Introduction
Brokerpedia National BDM Excellence Awards is an event that aims to recognize outstanding business development managers (BDMs) for their service to the industry.
Eligibility of BDM Candidate
To be eligible for an award, the BDM candidate must be:
1. At least 18 years old;
2. Residing and working in Australia; and
3. Employed as a business development manager.
All BDMs on our database are included in the list of candidates by default unless they decide to opt out, which must be expressed in writing.
Eligibility of Voter
To be an eligible voter, an individual must be:
1. At least 18 years old;
2. Residing and working in Australia; and
3. A registered Brokerpedia user if the voter is a broker.
The voter may be a broker or BDM, as BDMs are allowed to vote for themselves.
Guidelines for Voting
Voters must follow these steps.
1. Open the pop-up for voting on Brokerpedia
2. Click Vote Now.
3. Enter the name of the BDM you want to vote for.
4. Rate them out of 5 stars for each category.
5. Submit your vote. You may vote up to five times. Please take note that you may only vote for a BDM once. Five votes must be five different BDMs.
Criteria
BDM candidates are evaluated based on responsiveness, accuracy, service, and overall ratings.
Assessment
The judging process is electronic. Brokerpedia will use a software program to rank the BDM candidates based on the number of people who voted for them and their scores in the ratings as enumerated under Criteria.
Brokerpedia reserves the right to further evaluate BDM candidates in the event that the electronic assessment does not suffice. Cases that warrant further assessment include but are not limited to:
1. Discrepancies in the data;
2. Insufficient ratings; and
3. Insufficient information;
Awarding
Winners and awardees will be notified by Brokerpedia. To receive the award, a winner or awardee is responsible for communicating with Brokerpedia.
Personal Information
Voters and BDM candidates must ensure that the information they provide is true to the best of their ability. BDM candidates, winners, and awardees agree that Brokerpedia may disclose and use the information they provide for the purposes of promotion.
To be eligible for an award, winners and awardees give Brokerpedia the right to use their information for marketing purposes. In the event that winners and awardees refuse to share their information, Brokerpedia may forfeit their awards.
Brokerpedia may also share information from the Brokerpedia National BDM Excellence Awards, such as top-performing BDMs in an organization, to third parties. Candidates, winners, and awardees agree that Brokerpedia will not be held liable for any special, consequential, incidental, or indirect damages resulting from any third party’s usage of information from the Brokerpedia National BDM Excellence Awards. Participants may refer to Brokerpedia’s full data privacy policy
Termination
Brokerpedia reserves the right to amend, suspend, withdraw, or end the Brokerpedia National BDM Excellence Awards without prior notice.
Liabilities
In no event shall Brokerpedia be held liable for any special, consequential, incidental, or indirect damages resulting from the Brokerpedia National BDM Excellence Awards.
